ASAHI Pentax SP1000 35mm Film SLR Camera with SIGMA f/3.5 28-70mm Zoom Lens and Detachable Cold Shoe Attachment

Features: While Pentax Spotmatics were evolving, Asahi maintained a line of cameras which was identical to the original Spotmatic, as entry-level models, calling them SP500 and SP1000 depending on the max speed in the dial. These cameras were virtually identical to the Spotmatic SP except there is no self timer. The SP500 and SP1000 were not for sale in Japan.
The SP500 was introduced after the SPII in 1971 (Product Nr.23109) and SP1000 introduced after the SP-F in 1974 (Product Nr. 23120). The SP500 shutter speed dial shows a max speed of 1/500, like the SP1000 and SP the SP500 can actually shoot at 1/1000 by turning the shutter speed dial to an unmarked stop after 1/500.

Details: This is an ASAHI Pentax SP1000 35mm Film SLR Camera with SIGMA f/3.5 28-70mm Zoom Lens and has a small amount of age-related usage marks. No major bashes, or dings. The camera winds on and fires. The lens is nice an clean but does look like it has a light onset of fungus in a couple of places (hence the price) but not to impair it.
It has been UVC sanitised. Please study the high-resolution photos closely to evaluate the condition as pictures speak louder than words.
