The Jupiter-8 lens is derived from the Zeiss Sonnar design. It has six elements in three groups.[1] It has a focal length of 50mm and a maximum aperture of f/2.0.
It was made for two different camera mounts, the Leica thread mount used on Zorki, FED, and some other Soviet rangefinders, and the Contax mount used on Kiev rangefinders.
An upgraded version of the lens was released in 1957 as the Jupiter 8M, which continued in parallel with the Jupiter 8. It was only made in Contax mount and the main difference was that the aperture ring incorporated click stops, for easier adjustment of the aperture. Courtesy of camera-wiki

Details: This is an old Jupiter 8M f2 50mm Camera Lens with Contax Kiev Mount built by Arsenal and is the M upgrade version and has a small age-related usage marks. No major bashes, or dings. Lens elements are good with a few specks of expected dust. It has been UVC sanitised. Please study the high-resolution photos closely to evaluate the condition as pictures speak louder than words.
